Interoperability In Digital Government: A Bibliometrics Analysis

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain the development of research on Interoperability in Digital Government from 2013 to 2023 based on the Scopus database. This research uses the scoping review method with a bibliometrics approach. This research finds that research on interoperability in digital government has developed significantly in the last ten years. Judging from the publication, which has increased yearly in terms of number. Likewise, in terms of contributing authors with many citations as evidence of other researchers' primary references. Moreover, the United States dominates research contributions by having many documents and citations. Then, research on Interoperability in Digital Government has two major concepts as theoretical references, namely electronic government and interoperability. These two big concepts became the basis for analyzing Interoperability in Digital Government research. Furthermore, the trend of research on this topic in the last two years has focused on digital transformation (DT). The significance of this research lies in successfully comprehensively mapping the development, basic concepts, and future of studies on interoperability in digital government.
